At El Shaddai Intercontinental School (ESIS), our Middle School program acts as a secure, highly supportive bridge during this crucial phase. Our Academic Programme

As students transition into their teenage years, the academic demands increase significantly. To prepare our middle schoolers for high school, we shift the educational focus from foundational learning to deep analytical thinking, supported by a framework that demands personal responsibility.

Core Subjects:

At the middle school level, our program combines the globally recognized Cambridge curriculum offered up to Grade 8 with the individualized approach of Accelerated Christian Education (ACE), creating a strong and competitive academic pathway:

Math – Advances students into algebra, fractions, and higher-level problem-solving, guided by Cambridge standards and reinforced through personalized ACE learning.
English – Develops confident communicators through grammar, composition, and literature, blending academic rigor with self-paced mastery.
Word Building – Expands vocabulary and language skills, strengthening reading fluency and writing excellence.
Science – Encourages deeper exploration and critical thinking, helping students understand the world with clarity and purpose.
Social Studies – Builds global awareness through history, geography, and cultural studies aligned with international standards.

This integrated approach of Cambridge up to Grade 8 and ACE’s individualized system ensures students achieve academic excellence while growing in confidence, responsibility, and character.

The ESIS Approach:

Taking Ownership: The training wheels come off. We teach teenagers how to become self-motivated goal setters. They are responsible for managing their time and must demonstrate true comprehension (an 80% to 90% mastery rate) of a topic before advancing, ensuring zero learning gaps.
Moral Courage: The teenage years are full of new social pressures. We actively equip students with actionable character traits to help them build healthy peer relationships, resolve conflicts, and develop the courage to make principled choices when it counts.
